When the skin of a patient’s penis is avulsed, its shaft is usually uninjured, and you can graft it quite easily. When there is a defect in the skin of his scrotum, you can usually close the wound with the skin which remains. Don’t try to graft the scrotum, because there is no way of applying pressure to the graft.
